How Do You Get Prospects To Respond?
We have looked at how to generate multi-level marketing leads, now we have to figure out how to respond to the prospects. There are two parts to this process:
• Creating the lead collection method
• Responding to the prospect
The graphic on the left shows a direct marketing marketing message that leads the person to a customized website where they response to the offer. In our online example, you have done the same thing using a banner ad. The prospect sees the MLM message in a banner ad with a hyperlink to follow. Where will this hyperlink take the prospect?
To a customized landing page where they enter their email address for their free sample. From that point, steering your prospect to a page that provides more details about what they are receiving and up-sell options is the best way to instill confidence in your prospect instead of a hyperlink would lead your prospect to the company's website. If you take the direct mail approach, the postcard or sales letter they receive with the hyperlink takes the prospect directly to the landing page where they complete the form to receive their sample. To make sure that you use a coding in the design that's linked to the mail they received. It is also a good idea to include a referral or "tell a friend" section on the form.
The conversion point website should provide the prospect with the vital information they need to know; tell them how their personal information will be used and the conditions regarding their free sample.
Because you are collecting personal information from your prospect the web page that includes the form for your prospect's information should be encrytped . Because you will communicate with them via e-mail, it is important to request that they confirm you have permission to send them e-mail, in order to comply with the "CAN SPAM Act" to avoid damaging your business reputation.
You can create a series of MLM e-mail messages and send them to your prospects on regular schedule using an auto responder to keep them actively interested in your product and provides you with valuable feedback. Now you are ready to cross the finish line of sales as you engage your prospect in the buying process.
