Crowd Pleasing Website Gear
Starting with product or service of your MLM business, the keyword list you made when you registered your domain name and your budget, the next task is to sketch out an outline of what features your website is going to have. We're looking at the basics in this section, and the rule of thumb is to build it for the people you want to attract; these are the visitors who you want to be your fans. So start with an understanding of the term is ‘usability' -- make it easy for them to see you have what they are searching for and find their way around your website.
Design techniques are like the engine gear shift in a car. Putting an engine in a car that doesn't have all of the support mechanics to go with it can lead to disaster. There are many different design techniques, the trick is to match your product or service to the design so that it supports it without making it difficult for visitors to get the information they need and explore.
The first job your website is to provide your visitors with information. If your visitor has a flat tire, what can you do to fix it? It's simple; your visitor wants to know: what can your product or service do for them? All the features and technical details come AFTER you answer this first question.
Your second job is to take your product or service apart and find out everything it can do that different from your competition. So you can answer your visitor's next question which is: why should I buy this product or service from you?
Support your information with the images that show the results of what your product or service can do. And back up these claims with customer testimonials.
Take your helmet off and let your visitors know who you are. A photo is a good way to instill confidence, but at the very minimum, a real street address, telephone number along with e-mail or instant messenger contact info. You are asking them for their money, so let them know they are dealing with a legitimate business.
If you collect information from your visitors, they have a right to know how it will be used. SPAM is a bad word in online business, so be sure to reassure your visitors that their information is safe with you.
You're almost ready for the road show, all you need now is your search engine tune-up.
