Anytime you ever hear of an opportunity that doesn't involve any product, RUN! This is considered a Pyramid Scheme and is not only foolish but also illegal. They way this works is actually quite simple. You sign someone up for your "business" and charge them an "x" amount of money to join. This signup fee partially goes to you as well as your upline. Then your downline sign people up. There is never any product that changes hands. This is definably not a legal mlm businesses.

What to look for in a legal company.

So how do you find a legal mlm businesses? Good question. There are many things that you should look at to determine the legality of a company. When looking at network marketing, the first thing that needs to be looked at is the product line. First of all, make sure that there actually is a product and second make sure that the product is something that can be legally marketed in the country you operate your business in. This is crucial. There are many people out there that have started to market a product only to find that is outlawed in their country.
